How to take care of your skin. Especially when you will be the most photographed woman of that day. the bride to be and if that is your big day, you will be the bride, you will be taking... lots of photographs and you will be the most photographed woman of the day. So skin becomes important. So very simple there are few things few mantras which you can take care if you want to take care of your skin and you want to make sure you are a glowing bride that day. First thing is hydration. Ya, hydration remains number one singular most important thing so drink a lot of water. If you don't like to drink plain water just little bit of few drops of lime juice which is lemon in your water and you will find that it is easier to drink water. If possible try not to drink water which comes home. Try to get mineral water or one of the better quality waters from outside because they are just balanced for the mineral amount. Second thing is try to have as much electrolytes as possible. So coconut water is very good for skin, its also very good for hydration. Keep sipping coconut water, avoid fruit juices because they are very very heavy on sugar and avoid all aerated drinks. So coconut water is number one recommendation. I would also say that its very important to have lots of herb teas. Because if you are nervous and you need to be calmed down herb tea is ideal because it does not have caffeine. It does not have all those things to stimulate the skin or make you loose water. So herb tea like jasmine, rose are particularly good because they are also happy teas. They also make you feel happy and relaxed. These are some of the very good teas. Third this is that What you should eat. So most brides are very nervous and they don't feel like eating. So what I would recommend is make a fruit juice but made at home. That means the juice should not be from outside, it should not be in a tetra pack. It should be fresh home made fruit juice. Why fruit juice? Because you need the energy you need the vitamins you need the sugar but you don't want artificial sugar and you don't want artificial chemicals. So have a fruit juice. You can have couple of... you can have two to three glasses of fruit juice during the day. So that you are not feeling exhausted tired same time you would have to have a big meal. Now but still your tummy would rumble and you do not want a rumbling tummy also. Though you want to make sure your skin is glowing. So what you do is just nibble on things which are like for example peanuts, roasted grams. Because these products will not make you feel full or heavy at the same time they are very good for the skin. Now another thing which we all don't consider as part of beauty regimen is sleeping. Yes. I know that you would be... you would have lost sleep because you are excited, nervous, stressed maybe. But sleep is very important. So why you need sleeping. So you get your eight hours of sleep if possible. Otherwise also try to get little cat naps. So what I say cat naps is? Little beauty oriented cat naps. So what you do is, take a ball of cotton put rose water and cucumber juice in that cotton. Put these two balls of cotton on your eyes and lie down for say ten minutes with your eyes shut. Why? Because as a bride you don't want dark circles under your eyes. You don't want puffiness under your eyes. So rose water and little bit of cucumber juice is great for removing the puffiness.

Another method is you put rose water and you put grated potato. So grated potato juice is also very good it takes away the puffiness from around the skin. It gives the fresh feel. So eyes is very important because they should be calm, they should be relaxed. You could also use... these days you get gel pads. You can put them in the refrigerator cool them then put lot of rose water on them then apply and keep it on your face. So gel pack will give you a smooth relaxed feel. Now it is also important to use masks on the big day. Why the masks is because you skin sometimes because of stress breaks out. So you can use a mask depending on your skin type. If it is a dry skin then use a mask which has banana, avocado, little bit of avocado oil. Bit if you have a oily skin then use a mask which has sandalwood, papaya and banana and that mask can work wonders. It will give you fresh feel. Also you can take a little bit of ice put it in a little bit of cloth, muslin cloth and apply it on your face. That will give you a fresh feel. In fact if you just apply this little bit of ice during the day you will see that your face will also start glowing a lot. Because that brings the circulation onto the face. What is also very important is that ensure that you don't touch or rub your face too often. Because sometimes what happens is that you get marks or scratches on the face because of the finger nails. So it is very important not to touch the face at all. Now as far as eating is concerned it is very important that you eat the right stuff through out the day. So besides hydration, besides the natural fruit juice also try to have a little bit of sprouts if possible. Because you can just much them and they don't get you know they don't spoil very easily. Try to avoid spicy food on your big day because it can give rise to gas, it can give rise to some reaction, and because already you are kind of in a hyper state so you don't want to be irritating your stomach. So have a little bland food. And of course if it is in the winters then try to have it in form of soups. So on the big day if you want to look beautiful masks, fruit juices, and avoid skin exposure on that particular day, good sleep and eye relaxants. So all these things will really go a long way in making you the perfect bride...
